Our SSI Dive Master course in Mexico gives you the skills and real-world experience to lead dives professionally anywhere in the world.
Start your professional journey with our Dive Master Course in the Riviera Maya.
This is the longest and most complete program in our formation dive master path. You’ll reinforce everything you’ve learned so far, deepen your knowledge of diving science, and gain real experience guiding divers underwater.
Train in Cozumel or Playa del Carmen, assist instructors during real courses, and experience daily life inside a dive center. You’ll also interact with real clients, making this dive master course a hands-on and immersive experience.
Every day will be different: classroom sessions, practical exercises, skill circuits in the pool, swim tests, and even dive site mapping. You’ll never get bored.

DIVE MASTER COURSE REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum age 18 years old
- Have logged a minimum of 60 open water dives totaling at least 40 hours
- Medical certificate stating fitness to dive, SIGNED BY A DOCTOR
- Diver Stress & Rescue certification and first aid course
You must also hold the following certifications issued by a recognized training agency, or demonstrate experience by logging at least five (5) dives in each of the following specialties: Deep, Navigation, and Night diving.
DIVE MASTER COURSE REQUIREMENTS:
