CENOTE DIVING
Cenote Diving in Playa del Carmen and
the Riviera Maya
What Is Cenote Diving?
Diving in the cenotes that the Riviera Maya has to offer is a unique experience! Divers from all over the world come here to dive in these caverns and caves with crystal-clear waters and amazing formations. Cenotes are flooded underground rivers, which for the Mayan ancestors were the entrance to the underworld. There is a perfect cenote depending on your certification level!
What’s the Difference Between Cenote and Cave Diving?
While cenote diving takes place in cavern zones with natural light and access to the surface, cave diving involves penetrating dark, enclosed environments that require technical training and advanced certifications. With us, you’ll explore the most stunning and safe cenotes in Playa del Carmen and the Riviera Maya.
Our dives usually take place in Cenote Dos Ojos, Cenote Jardín del Edén, Cenote Angelita, Cenote El Pit, Cenote Car Wash, and Cenote Nohoch.
