Diving specialties are short courses, one or two days long, that allow divers to increase their knowledge and skills. They are a perfect complement to basic training, as divers will learn about different aspects of diving in a more specific way. In addition, some of these specialties will enable us to do different types of diving, such as deep diving (diving up to 40 meters) and nitrox diving (using enriched air mixes).

The range of specialties that can be done is enormous. From dry specialties, such as those related to marine life, to expert specialties such as deep diving, wreck diving, ice diving, cave diving, nitrox diving, current diving, or underwater photography. After successfully completing the specialty, a special license or certificate is obtained. One specialization may be relatively easier than another, so the entry level and course intensity for each specialization are different.

Each specialty has certain prerequisites, with SSI we can combine depending on the specialty you choose, and in the same time we would do your Advanced course, we can do 2 to 3 courses in the same 6 dives. Below we list the specialties that we offer in our center, which we believe will make you better divers.
